Old-World Tradition. Modern Tastes

« on: March 25, 2005, 10:54:43 AM »

I have a dream trip to NYC planned starting on Easter Sunday. First I'm going to hit Patsy's for a late lunch then for dinner I'm going to go to Una Pizza Napoletana. Last but not least, I just got off the phone with Dom and in his words "I gonna be here Sunday and Monday." Since Una is closed Monday I guess I'll meet Dom then.

I can't believe my good fortune...

When Brooklyn Was the World

« Reply #1 on: March 25, 2005, 04:09:04 PM »

una is expensiva - $17 for a 12" - but worth it.  I tried all 4 of his pies.  My favorite was the "basic" margarita.  Note the salt and the sourdough taste...mmmmm.

i would suggest trying Nicks in queens as well, but I was dissapointed the last time I went.  They have moved down my list from #1 to #5 or so - behind Patsy's, Una, Totonnos, and L&B.

of course there's always L&B in brooklyn for a square since you'll be "near" there.
