I think you mean August, right Peter?
I find it interesting that the forum's most active month also seems to coincide with it's most quarrelsome month. Perhaps, at least, from an activity perspective, a little controversy may not be all that bad

Yes, I meant August and have corrected my post. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.
There are a lot of things that go into the total post count. I thought, for example, that maybe the members were spending more time talking about pizza instead of making them, and about ovens and non-pizza foods and pizza news. Also, some members, like Chicago Bob and Aimless Ryan, have been posting at a considerably higher rate than they usually do. Maybe you are also right that the recent contentiousness among some of the members has increased the post count. Unfortunately, there is no way to go back to a high volume day, like the 400+ day, to examine the posts more closely to see what caused the big jump in volume.
