how much potatoes are you putting on ? is it a sauce ?

Sear you just dallop it on like a meatball. We were first introduced to it while I was in school in RI. Of course we thought it was weird and snickered at it, until we tasted it. It was fabulous. Topped with mash potatoes, bacon, and onion.
Tonight's pie was (leftover) mashed potatoes, meatloaf, and green onion. Just as delicious.
