Focaccia 166

when i was a kid we lived next door to a pizza place (lamplighter inn Taft CA). i have been on a mission to find a copy cat recipe of that style pizza dough. the focaccia 166 looks a lot like i remember so i thought i would give it a try. Wish me luck more pics to come

Okay I found my favorite thick crust I like a thinner crust but my kids said Maklayne-“dad this is the best pizza ever” Ben-”yeah dad its soooo good”  me-”better then the others?” both kids-”YEAH!!!”

Your Focaccia 166 pizza does look very tasty!  :) The recipe you used looks interesting also.  Glad your husband and children enjoyed your pizza.

Here goes.  Did you like the pizza?  Was it bready or melt in your mouth?  The sauce looks good, do you have any more crumb shots?  Maybe a picture of the bottom of the pizza?  In reality it boils down to what you like.  If you want someone to pry farther/further then you are asking them to compare/contrast what they perceive to be good/desireable.  As a newbie myself, and with my own taste preferences,  I would like to see a bit more top heat used on your pizza. I am sure it tasted excellent. The most important thing is that the kiddos gave it the thumbs up, what more do you need than that?  Keep up the good work  :chef:
