Does pizzamaking.com have any plans to enable tapatalk on the forum?

I'll have to check into that and let you know. I may be able to install it.

I don't like the idea of the client piece being a paid app.  :-\

Understandable, hopefully someone will find a free solution to better mobile  browsing of pizzamaking.com

I'm not with the app but 4 bucks is well worth the price for convenient browsing

I just installed Tapatalk on my Samsung Galaxy S III ($2.99 in the Google Play store) and can report that it works beautifully. Well worth the price to me.

I use tapatalk also and it works great on my Droid RAZR m. I wouldn't even browse pizzamaking on my mobile before.

Tapatalk is great. I just wish Steve could get the photo hosting sorted for Android users.

Sorry, I don't have Android. It works fine on my iPad... can view and post pictures without any problems. Any other Android users having problems?

That's a good point and the one flaw I've found with tapatalk on my droid.. Pictures don't show, there's no preferences to show them, and they don't download manually either. You can view the thread you're looking at in webview, but that kinda defeats the purpose...

I hadn't noticed but it's true that the images don't load. They show up as little Android symbols with a "Download" button beside them.  If you tap on the download button the reply menu (for the post) comes up (reply, quote, Multi, Share, More). There doesn't seem to be any option to actually download.   It's maybe the software on the device as opposed to something on the forum.  I will report to Tapatalk and see what they say.

Still, even with that problem, it's great mobile software, and makes it much easier to keep up with what's going on when you are on the road.

Ok, then it must be an issue with the Android version. Here are two screen shots taken from my iPad (running TapaTalk HD). The first shows the forum (and a thread) that contains some pictures. I clicked on the image icon and the second image shows what I see.

Hey Steve, did you check out those threads in the Tapatalk support forum that I linked to in the other Tapatalk thread? Sounded like a library needed to be rebuilt or something.

It would seem only Android is having the issue.

Yes, its true that other forums display pictures.  I'm not 100% sure I want them to display automatically in Tapatalk because I pay for my data by the kilobyte, and I'd rather have the option of not downloading a photo if I don't want to.  Tapatalk doesn't seem to have any options that let you select whether or not to download images.

Regards,

TinRoof

http://support.tapatalk.com/threads/images-not-viewable-in-tapatalk-for-android.16852/

It's also reported here (by a different forum):

http://support.tapatalk.com/threads/images-are-not-displayed-in-the-app.16777/

Funny someone from this site already posted it therr. Doesn't look like the threads got much response. :(

To be fair, I am not sure if the other forums I read run SMF (vbulletin seems most popular), so it could be an issue specific to the SMF plug-in I guess.
