Only In MN!!!!

Last year on St. Paddy's Day it was 80 degrees and the trees were budding and I was taking my boat out on the Mississippi for some early walleye fun. Today, ground blizzard conditions with winds 30-50 mph, driveway full of snow drifts from this mornings snow and sub-zero wind chills for the next couple days.....wtf, only in MN, land of 10,000 lakes......frozen for a little while longer........... :o

Jon,

Sorry to hear about your bad weather.  :( We also are getting snow in our area right now, but not blizzard conditions.  Our weather has been funky too.  It sleeted a lot in our area on Saturday.

Don't wish that one me!  :o My snow blower is broken. We do have a winter weather advisory for bad weather and that is enough.   :-D  Keep that darn stuff!

Aloha Jon,

I feel your pain...  this is as close as I could get to my cabin (home) in Montana in April of '96. That was my last winter on the Mainland and I never looked back.

I'm hearing more snow for Chicago this weekend... I wonder if Mother Nature is just making up for the 80 degree March we had last year?  It's just been a colder/snowier year across the nation it seems...

I think Punxsutawney Phil's Prediction was wrong for our area and also many other areas.  That darn Phil predicted an early spring.   :o 

I am also sick of this cold weather, but at least don't have any snow now.
