I am a old retired guy ,living in Iowa ,love to cook ,love to eat also.I was directed to the forum because I was trying to find a thin crust like a local place makes. La casa in Omaha NE. I am not a huge pizza fan but my wife and family is ,they challenged me to duplicate their recipe.
I am starting DKM's recipe this afternoon and will have a pizza hopefully tomorrow night for everyone.
I remember eating at Shakeys in Omaha years ago, and we ate at Round table when we lived in Portland Oregon. I've never had the Chicago styles but will if I ever get that way. My daughter had a double crust potato pizza years ago and still raves about it ,but we don't know where it came from.
