I paid around $3 for a 28 oz. can at an Italian deli and now I found this stuff at GFS. Anyone familiar with the Primo Gusto tomato products in the photos?

My tropical fish stayed the same size for years in a 20 gallon tank: I put them in a new 50 gallon tank and they grew huge. And that’s why I refuse to buy bigger pants.

I haven't seen that label out here in California. Can't say for sure, but my guess is that it's a private label for a San Benito product. In the past I have seen that GFS does tend to carry San Benito tomatoes. So the private label would make sense.

Papa Murphy's uses the old california brand.

From what I have personally seen, they also pick "ripe" Roma type tomatoes around the clock and use a form gentle processing. They have good "not over processed" tomato flavor. Occasionally I do get a few cans that are "off". I assume this caused from retail warehouses storing them at too high of temps. I would say they are very comparable to Stanislaus brand.

They've had the 6-in-1's for a while now. That's where I buy them. I've never tried the Primo Gusto, which is GFS' house brand.
