Been kinda silent around here, well I guess it is spring and we are all pretty busy........ :)

 :)Happy to hear that a few carry the torch while waiting for the lull in pizza making to pass. :)

Made one of the best pizzas I ever had tonight.
48 hour proof with dough in fridge. Slightly altered recipe from my norm.
will post after retesting to see if I can duplicate the results. ;)

I made a batch of American Pie Chicago style yesterday and was happy with the results. First attemp with Peter Rs recipe.
Fun and easy to do.
Gonna try the Sicilian style next I think to see if it is what I love so much.
You are right though, been super busy lately with everything ;D :P

Finally back again. What a bummer, I wanted to make my 2nd Chicago on the weekend. Just had no time... same story as last time. Well, you know Focacciaman.... seems like we were not alone the last week.

But the good news is the dough is now in the fridge for tomorrows lunch!! Can't wait  ;D

I am going to try the variation with the all Crisco and decided to give the Farina de Maiz a try (corn-flour instead of cornmeal). I am getting hungry already just thinking about tomorrow.

I'll post the results and pictures.... catch you guys later (it's near midnight here in Hamburg).

I just left school so the internet has been a scarce commodity. I did buy American Pie today and I think I'm in love with pizza all over again. I'll start a new post about my travel to europe. Haven't made pizza since April :'(
