study on healthier pizza making?

The study, partially funded by the USDA, forgot to mention that "deep dish" pies are typically much higher in fat/calories than thin crust. 

It's like saying that you're better off eating a Big Mac than a Slider because the lettuce and tomato are fresh and healthy.

The flour may be a bit more healthful when cooked this way, but what about all of the other stuff?  Forgive the pun, but this seems to be our tax dollars at work dodging yet another inconvenient truth.
