«

I just purchased a #10 can of Full Red Pizza sauce. I'm thinking this sauce will make a good base. Anyone have suggestions about what to add to it in the way of spices and in what quanity to what quanity of sauce?
Thanks in advance

You can't go wrong with the basics: Dried oregano, salt, pepper, garlic, fresh basil, maybe some thyme.

what kind of sauce are you looking for...
mild
sweet
tangy
spicy
??
As always when experimenting with spices, add in small amounts 1/4 to 1/2 tsp you can always add more. and remember that the flavor will intensify the longer the sauce has to sit and blend together.
