This thread is so true.  I grew up in Kansas City and Pizza Hut had a great pizza back in the '70s.  I loved the all you can eat buffet when I was a teenager.

Up until a few years ago it was still decent for a cheap fast pizza fix, and it was good cold the next morning.

A few days ago I got a thin crust and it was terrible.  Really dry, no sauce, not enough cheese.  Just awful.  I threw half of it in the trash.

Yum brands has ruined all the restaurants they own.
Large Pepperoni, Extra Cheese, to go.

Why has Pizza Hut gone down the toilet?  Because it's much easier to flush a turd than a decent pizza.   :D

For me, the first sign of distress was sometime in 1983 when a Portsmouth, Virginia Pizza Hut started placing the toppings on top of the cheese instead of incorporating them into it.   >:(
