after signing into gmail account, look for a link that states more services. click there and you will be taken to a page that shows googles many free features, one of them being picasa. follow through and go to your picasa account. you do not need to download any software. once there, you can click the upload link and begin uploading your photos that are stored on your computer to the world wide web.  if you want to share your picture here in this forum, click on the photo, and to the right of the picture, you should see a link that says "link to this photo". if you click that, you will be able to see the picture address where you can 'right click and copy' and paste it in the reply/post text box. hope this helps anyone.

When using Picasa, will links to the photos appear in a reply or the actual photos themselves? My perception is that most people would rather see the photos themselves in the replies because they won't disappear if the links are inactivated at some point, as often occurs. I have seen many posts on the forum become useless because of dead links.
