I have a pretty wet dough and usually by the end of mixing cycle and getting it out of the bowl, there are little remnants of dough left over on the inside of the bowl.

How do others clean this out? It seems to take forever just filling the bowl with water and scrapping it off the sides.

First the bread, NOW the pizza dough!

My first question:
What is your mixing bowl made of?
Mine is stainless steel and my doughs are usually high hydration, so I am faced with the same thing.  I discovered that by letting the bowl sit and dry out, the remaining dough dries out and flakes off all by itself!  I just upend it over the sink and dump out the dried bits, then stick the bowl in the dishwasher... easy!  Anything that remains stuck, the dishwasher makes short work of.

However, back to my first question... if your bowl is not stainless steel, I'm not sure how this method would work.

I have several but the one I am speaking of is Stainless steel from the KA. Interesting thought to just let it dry out.
