Bill, I can't speak for the rest of the membership, but when I post a reply with photos (or start a new thread) there is no "choose file" button on my screen. Instead, it says "Attach:" with a small space for the address of the attachment, then to the right of that, there is a "browse" button for visiting your hard drive to choose a photo. To the right of the "browse" button, there is a green link that says "(more attachments)" for adding subsequent photos. While the EXACT WORDS aren't there, the position on the screen is the same, which should also be a help, I would think.
I certainly appreciate the help you are trying to give the newbies, but it may confuse them when they don't see on their screen what you are describing... and my guess is that, as a Mod, your screen may look different from my screen?
This is what I see (with a rectangular "box" after the bold Attach:) Attach: (more attachments) Allowed file types: jpg, gif, png, txt Maximum attachment size allowed: 128 KB, per post: 8

Thanks, sd. I'll look into this and make necessary changes.

sd, I created a new account and I see exactly the same thing on my screen now as I did when logged in as a moderator. Perhaps this is a browser-specific behavior. I am running Safari Version 4 Beta. Bill/SFNM

Bill,
I have logged in on both Mozilla Firefox (the browser I'm using now) and IE and both give me the screen described above. I've never seen the screen you describe, so I think you must be right... browser specific makes sense.
So, knowing there are two different versions out there will hopefully help people who are having trouble with photos. And, as I said before, just knowing the location of the buttons on the screen makes your video helpful! Thanks, Bill!

It is definitely browser-specific. I fired-up IE8 and the relevant portion of the screen looks like this:

Just making sure I understand this right.
I'm not keen on having to resize stuff I've already got on my fotki account, and then go through the dain bramage of re-uploading them here.
Your loss - I have a pile of pics from Antico Pizza Napoletano in Atlanta, and would do a little review, but really not big on the overly-difficult pic posting schema here.

Send me a link to your photos. I'll be happy to download them, resize them, and post so that you can then add a review.
