Spurkey,

See http://www.foodservicedirect.com/index.cfm/S/231/CLID/4003/N/117597/Rich-Frozen-Pizza-Dough-Balls.htm. The Rich frozen dough balls are considered among the best in the industry and are used by many pizza operators. However, there appears to be a three-case minimum for the dough balls and there are shipping charges to be considered. I ran a three-case scenario for where I live in the Dallas area and the total cost for three cases of 16 ounce dough balls (90 dough balls) came to about $416, or about $4.62 per 16-ounce dough ball.

I believe that several of our members have also purchased frozen dough balls from Sam's/Wal-Mart and Costco's. However, not all Wal-Marts carry the frozen dough balls.

Spurkey,

After posting, I discovered that foodservicedirect also carries the Pillsbury frozen dough balls, also with a three-case minimum: http://www.foodservicedirect.com/index.cfm/S/251/CLID/4138/N/116556/Pillsbury-Frozen-White-Pizza-Dough-Balls.htm.

Cassano's Pizza King in Ohio has offered frozen dough balls for years, but I don't know if you have to be in the restaurant business or if there is a minimum quantity.  You can read about it and call them to find out here: http://www.cassanos.com/dough.cfm
