If you really can fly anywhere, go to the Philippines. There are probably more Shakey's here than in the US. http://www.shakeyspizza.ph/store_finder.asp

The closest one that I know of to you is in Warner Robbins, Georgia.
Let us all know if you go.

No Ohio locations, sorry.
Shakeys website has a store locator on their website.
Currently there are franchises in Kalifornia, Georgia, Wisconsin, Washington (state), and Arizona.
I remember one being in the Whitehall section of Columbus OH. Unless I'm mistaken it used to be on South Hamilton Road.
That was decades ago. It's long gone.

The last time I had Shakey's pizza was in 1971, just outside of Little Rock Arkansas. I was just 10 at the time (yes, I'm old) and we got to watch the guys make the pizza. That was a blast. If I remember correctly, it was very thin and crispy pizza. We loved it.

The last Shakey's pizza parlor I can remember going to was in West Allis, Wisconsin (suburb of Milwaukee). It was close to the interstate, as I recall, on a major street called National Avenue. That was at least 31 years ago. Last time I checked the Shakey's site, it still exists. The one in Janesville just closed their doors. The one in Springfield, Illinois is changing names because Shakey's wants to change their image and is doing away with the big buffet concept. Good luck, and let us know if and when you get your fix.

Shakey's just introduced their "Angus Steakhouse Pizza" in the Philippines. My curiosity was piqued by their black billboards that teased it with their "Angus Steakhouse" logo.
It was pretty bad. I was actually upset for them. The beef looked and tasted like it was processed with many extenders.
