i built a outdoor oven  (with some design help from the site) and made some
new york pizza with the Lehmann dough- oven was very hot but bottom the the pizza would not brown- a week ago i made a cracker /american type pizza using a premade
dough from Richs products and it came out great- both pizza went right on the fire

If you post the formula you are using for the dough, we may be able to give you some insight. It would also help to know how hot the oven was.

Cooler weather, bricks not up to heat yet? If you don't have one already, one of those fancy laser temp checkers would be worth it......especially for an outside oven.
