Saad,
I could be wrong but I believe that the $450 is the cost to modify or replace the motor to reduce the mixer speed.  The Santos 18 doesn't have a speed adjustment.

ah ok...for some reason it looked smaller than the original santos to me. The top part is the difference, right?

The safety guard is off, but otherwise it's a bona fide Santos #18.

Hard to tell, looks the same.  I sold mine a while back so can't compare.
