What is the price at Jewel?

Don't recall. I bought it a few weeks ago, but I think it was under $4. Whatever the price was, it was less than the regular price.
I'll try to confirm the next time I go to Jewel.

Just a followup. The Dietz and Watson pepperoni was $4.99 a pack on my last visit to Jewel. That was regular price.
I think it was a buck cheaper when it was on sale the other week. Still worth it at five bucks for what I consider premium pepperoni.

Not bad.  I can often get boars head presliced for $1.99 a pack.  Ezzo is really good too.

I gotta try boars head again!  thanks for the info gang!  ok, I don't like pepperoni on Chicago thin, im sausage only for some reason.  but I love pepperoni on new York and new haven thin crust!!  I also like cheese only on those too!  and don't like their sausage!  must be their sausage on that one I think!

I keep trying new pepperoni brands when I find them.

The latest one I've tried is
Dietz & Watson. http://www.dietzandwatson.com/our-products/italian-specialties/sliced-pepperoni/
It was on sale at the Jewel/Osco and available sliced in pouches.

Tasted great! Wasn't as spicy as Margherita, but had good flavor.
Was much less greasy than Hormel.
Did not over-char when used for Deep Dish and Pequod styles.

If Jewel keeps selling this brand, it will be my new 'go-to' brand.  :chef: :pizza:

What is the EST # in the little white USDA circle on the front of the Dietz & Watson package?

The EST number on the D&W pack in my fridge says 19.

That pepperoni is made by Armour-Eckrich.
