the weather tonight was 28 degrees a perfect night to fire up my oven. the nice thing about my little forno bravo primevera 70 is that it can be fired up quickly.  i anticipated good weather and did a 1250 gram batch of caputo Wednesday afternoon.  tonight i baked 5 pizzas sending all but the one i ate to neighbors. that fire and fresh basil gets you out of the winter slump in a hurry.

You pie sure looks delicious.  :)  Winter sure is long......I can smell the fire and basil in my mind.  Thanks for posting your pie and pictures.

thanks for the comments, pizza tastes much better when you are not testing recipes four or five times a week.
 marc, i an working on a small portable oven based on a 28 inch giardano engine by forno bravo it has a dome of 13.5 inches so it is a lot lower than my primavera i am hoping that the balance is better for pizza .enclosed is the stage that the cover and stand are at.
