It says his oven from Naples already arrived. I wonder if he got the same manufacturer that was installed in his NYC location.

I was there in April 09.

The pizza was great, but there were several empty tables the entire time I was there.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe AM's new oven is a Stefano Ferrara....I guess we'll see for sure once he opens. --K

I heard from an interview with him that he had an Oven built and once it was finished he realized it was garbage and destroyed it, and then got one built in Naples.. so Im guessing he got a PREFAB mobile oven built?

also my other question is, if he did get a prefab mobile oven made, why didnt he just take it to San Fran with him??
and if it was an Oven built on site at UNA.. then does that mean that Motorino is using his old oven??

what happened to his oven?

Yes his first oven was built onsite and demolished. Then he got an acunto which you could say was semi portable but not worth taking out when leaving for sf. plus, the oven madehis place more attractive to buy. Motorino is using it now and they say it cooks with far less effort than the oven in thier original location.

well thats a thumbs up to Acunto ovens then.

I wonder what Anthonys new oven will be,,, anyone know?

Its a mobile oven, and I read he is opening in August as well because of permit issues. I think it was because of the oven. There is a shipping invoice on the oven but I can't seem to find it. It has his name and business address and SF name on it, everything along with the weight of the oven which says 3000kg, that means its the mobile oven. I'll try and find the invoice and post a link, if I recall it was someone on here that foung it and posted it.
