Chet, I think we may be in similar positions as far as pulling the trigger on one of these to see if it improves our dough. If you do take the chance this afternoon, I will be very interested in your thoughts on the differences it makes on your dough.
Apparently these are so versatile (like most mixers) they can have many uses besides making pizza dough. I'm definitely leaning towards it to learn how to make bread. That's one area I haven't made time to explore yet but having a mixer like the bosch for pizza bread just seems like a good idea.
