Best Pizza in California

Hello all...

   I am planning a Pacific Coast vacation in August and Driving from San Diego up the coast to Crescent City. Where do I NEED to make my stops at for the best pizza in Cali?

Tony's Pizzeria in Ventura. It's right near the beach, a funky place. Tony makes it right before the customer's eyes while he blabs and blabs. It's NY style.
186 E Thompson Blvd, Ventura, CA.

Also, when you're north of San Francisco, there's better pizza in the little towns along highway 1 than there is along the cities on highway 101 IMO.

i'm not sure if a duarte pizza company (numerounopizzapasadena. com) is near...  :-[ they're pizzas are the best though...at least, for my taste buds.
