There once was a cheese sold around New England called Axlerod. The company no longer makes it. I have found a bunch of great cheeses since they stopped making it, but I always wonder if the old Axlerod whole milk was better than what I use now. I contacted the parent company Crowley Foods, and they said that they thought Maggio might be the same thing. Unfortunately Maggio is only sold in the Philly/NY/NJ area. Anyone out there have it in their grocery store?
