Fugassa co-a ăi˛ula - Ligurian Focaccia with Onions

Based very roughly on the simplest of focaccia recipes from Fred Plotkin's Recipes from Paradise,, this has become my favorite. It is 2-day room temp ferment/proof of a natural starter dough topped with only sliced onions and olive oil. Served with a seafood stew. I got a standing ovation from the family:

That looks very tasty Bill.  Nice work.  If I ever get this pizza thing down, I'll start on breads someday with Foccacia being on the top of the list.
