Freezing 5lb bag of Grande 100% Shredded Whole Milk Mozz

Does anyone have experience freezing 5lb bags of Grande shredded?  I purchased a case (6-5lb bags) from Vern's and I understand through another distributor that it has a cooler life of 42 days. 

Any thoughts on this?

Hi Crusty,

I buy huge blocks of cheese at Costco, I grate it up in my Kitchen Aid, and then freeze it in freezer bags,
it thaws out perfectly, - you'd never know it was frozen.

I do this all the time, and it saves me a lot of time.

What type of freezer are you talking about?  Would it make a difference if you use a regular refirgerator freezer or would a chest freezer be best?
