A friend of mine always used to tell me he wanted a Ham and P. pizza just to get a rise out of me. Anyway, I made him one - but I made a rather special version which went over big time! I caramelized some onions and then added some pineapple chunks and crushed chillies and caramelized the pineapple a little. Instead of ham, I used a type of kielbasa popularized by the Ukranian community in this part of Canada - it's called ham sausage and it's made with big chunks of ham and lots of garlic. I swore I'd never eat a H &P pizza but this was remarkable!
