Hi!
Just got my wooden pizza peel maintenance from Rainbow Catering the other day.
Before first use I did use a 1200 sandpaper on it to make it as smooth as a greased lightning

On my first attempt using it, I did use a tiny bit of courn flour on it, but found the pizza still sticking quite a bit to it. Not as much as when I used the aluminium peel, but still enough that some of the olived went for a rollercoster ride into the oven.
I've read some people say put oil on it, but something tells me that's a real bad idea.
So, how do you treat your wooden peel ? Was it oiled already ?
