i know i am a little late to this but since we are neighbors, chester county pa, i was wondering how nuch of a foundation did you put under that slab?

Just 3-4 inches of crushed stone under 4-5 inches of reinforced concrete.

In what may appear to be a shameless attempt at self promotion I decided to post in my own thread to bump it out of page three, but actually, since there seems to be many new folks here looking for oven build info, I felt that my thread has something to offer, since I documented pretty much everything in pictures. Sure, there are other ways to build an oven, but this one has performed quite well for me so far.

Perfect oven!
I plan to make one in future,your oven will be my guide  ;D
I have a question,i saw ovens with vent and other without vent.Why?
I want to make oven for pizzas and for cooking.Will need vent?
