Norma , Great idea  :)

im going to have to give this a try, ill probably do more of a batter like consistency..

sear,

Thanks for saying the waffle iron pizza was a great idea.  :) My regular dough worked well, but I oiled the opened up skin a little both sides.

If you decide to try a waffle iron pizza, it will be interesting to see what results you get.  At least it doesn't heat up the kitchen, in the summer. :-D  I liked both pies I made.  The only disadvantage is the pizza is small. Probably only enough for one or two people.  Best of luck if you try a waffle iron pizza.

sear,

I think your Belgium waffle maker will work out better than my waffle iron.  I watched many times at fairs where people made Belgium waffles and I think they are thicker than regular waffles.  It looks like the link you provided will give you a better chance of getting a thicker pizza.  I just measured my waffle iron and the plate is only 7" across, so you should do well.  Great to hear you already have 5 experiments ready.  ;D  Best of luck.
