World Processing Tomato Council - 2010 Estimated Processed Volumes

The June estimate from the World Processing Tomato Council (WPTC) shows a reduction of 10% of the volume of tomatoes to be processed worldwide in 2010 compared with 2009 final production.  On a related note, Italy will be short nearly 300,000 metric tons of its 3 year average.

The Febuary 1, 2011 estimate from the World Processing Tomato Council (WPTC) shows a reduction of 380,000 metric tons for Italy in comparison to the 2010 year end production total.  On a related note, California will show a (predicted) increase of  nearly 300,000 metric tons past the 2010 year end production.
