I asked him what his favourite pizza was...... he laughed and said...NY pizza! And then named Co. (company) as his favourite at the moment but mentioned the toppings at difara.

As long as he doesn't mention DiFara's crust, I can live with that  ;D  Co.is Jim Lahey (who I have tremendous respect for).  I guess when he said NY pizza, he meant 'pizza made in NY,' not NY style, because Co. is definitely not NY style.  I would place Co. in that gray area that Bianco inhabits.

Cheers Scott, you guys will think I am sad but I got there an hour early to get a good seat (I sat 2feet away from him in the front row) and I was totally starstruck!
What a night! I am sat here now watching No Reservations and looking at the pictures I took tonight! Lol

Ok Chau, when I am on a computer (tomorrow) I will post a couple of things he said.
Were you as starstruck when you met Chris Bianco?

No b/c I'm that cool.  8)  Just kidding!  Hell yeah!  I totally forgot to ask him about his kneading regimen, etc, etc.  All I cared about was getting my d@mn picture taken with the man.  :-D  Is that lame or what?   :-D This is why I can not wear the Caputo Apron.  I am totally not respectable.   :-D

I think he liked it, he had a huge smile... everyone asks him the same stuff.
He did rave about Spanish ham and Italian cured meats too.

My brother had some spanish ham (in Spain).  Said it was the best thing he ate in his life!  :chef:
Bourdain has said that Philippino roasted pork was the best pig he's had.

That's what he said tonight!
He rates that, the best 'whole' pig he has ate in his life! But he used the 'F' word when he described the pig! Lol.

I'm guessing that came after the iguana taco. It sounds like it would taste gamey. :)

I think what made it worse was it was UNWASHED warthog anus.  He was probably on antibiotics soon after.

Too funny.  You look like you're ready to propose to him in the second photo.  Must of been a great experience; I think he's cool & like his style.
