My first pie was sexy but ...
« on: October 01, 2010, 03:49:03 PM »
Ok so my first pizza is completed, she was photogenic, I used a regular average emergency dough, it came out ok, the goat cheese didnt really melt ... but it was cool. The thin is that I mixed 2 1/2 cup of bread flour with 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour. Could the whole wheat have affected the "crunchy"ness  of the dough ? and also, I used honey. Is it supposed to affect the texture or only speed up the yeast fermentation ?

Here are the pics ...
