Caputo in the Chicago area?
« on: August 11, 2010, 11:23:55 AM »
Hello All,

I will be in and around Loyola University, just north of downtown ("The Loop") Chicago. Can someone direct me to a store that carries Caputo 00?

I greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

Vince

FYI!!

If anyone is interested, I contacted Greco and Son's and they told me visit one of the "Caputo Fresh Markets".

I did so and it was a huge success.

Actually, they were 2.2 lbs. to be exact.

I also bought another brand called Granoro Farina 00. Same price and weight.

No problem!

I guess you actually went to Caputo's Fresh Markets!   Funny I never thought to go there.

I guess I would have known that if I'd read the thread properly!

Anyway I found another store with Caputo in today,

at 8325 West Lawrence Avenue.  A bit further north than Caputos Fresh Market.

$2.69 for the 2lb bag
