Canadian pizza joints add in 7-Up or Sprite into dough.

Hi Guys,

Don't know if they do that at certain places south of the border, but one
of the tricks I remember is that they add either 7-Up or Sprite into their pizza dough.

This from a guy who I knew who worked at a pizza joint.

He told me this helped make the dough rise.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know.

Reminds me of an old story of a local pizza joint that added dark beer to their dough.

Hi Dave,

Yeah, funny you mention that, because there are so many places that use
in their batter for onion rings, chicken fingers etc that use beer in the batter.

Interesting you should mention that.
