I ordered some unglazed quarry tiles for use as a stone, unfortunately they shipped the marble. My question is will this work as a pizza stone. It cost $82.00 so I really dont want to blow it up.

I am sorry, but it won't work like a pizza stone.
You can still use the marble as work surface to flatten your pizza on.
The only other material that can work as well as quarry, is a type of volcanic rock.
