How do I search for ...

All post for a particular username?  When I put the asterik (*) in the "search for" box and a username in the 'by user' box, it ask if I forgot 'to put something to search for'.  Is this type of search not available or am I just doing it wrong.  ???

click on the name.  then, at the bottom of the window, search for last posts.  it brings up all
