I'm going to go with the ones that Bill posted. They look exactly the same as the ones on wasserstrom but $50 cheaper for the same amount. I actually think they are the same.

I have to admit I bought some of the expensive ones before I found the ones I posted about up-thread. Live and learn.

So I was going to buy the plates today until I go onto the site Bill post and saw that they increased the price to $75 plus another $35 for shipping... for 6 plates. Should never have waited this long :'(.

That is sad.  Maybe they got a bunch of orders after that post and it motivated them to up the price.

I'm betting they realized they had the wrong price in their database.

The ones I've been looking at are http://www.wasserstrom.com/restaurant-supplies-equipment/Product_136466  and  http://www.gdprestaurantsupplies.com/product.php?productid=17601  but I'm still hoping to find something a little bigger.  Has anyone found similar in a 15-16"?

the ones from gdp are really expensive with shipping for only 6 plates. If you are looking for just a single 15" flat plate. They sell them at Crate & Barrel.

I see the single 13.25" one at Crate & Barrel, but nothing bigger - am I missing it?  I'd love to pick up a couple there if they have them!  Thanks!

I don't think they show them on the site. But when I went there looking for plates I remember they had the 15" white plates. You can give them a call and see if they have them in stock. I'm pretty sure it was labeled as a pizza serving platter but it might have been labeled as a cake plate. But either way it was perfect for pizza. Very flat with no taper and the very edge was curved. If they had them in 13" then I would have gotten them but 15" was to big.

$29 to ship 6 plates ground. Have they lost their minds?

Yeah, the shipping is crazy.  I found the plates I want for as little as $20 each, but the shipping for just 3 of them is $25-35 depending on vendor.  Instawares has them for $8.95 shipping but they're $26/each there, so it's not much cheaper in the end.  I'll still probably buy them:  http://www.instawares.com/metalcraft-ceramic-pizza-tray.amm-ceram16.0.7.htm  They come in bigger and smaller diameter, too.
