starter fed with VWG instead of just flour?
« on: November 17, 2010, 01:27:28 PM »
i've been feeding my starter the past two days (its almost 3 months old) with VWG and it seems that there is way more activity with it over standard flour.  any downsides to this?
Hotdogs kill more people than sharks do, yearly.

I can't answer your question but I have read on several sourdough sites to add gluten to the flour when feeding. I think I will try it with my next feeding, and begin a new one using gluten. Interesting.......

Hey don't take this the wrong way but I sure do like the look of your crust!
How has the addition of VWG changed the crust of your pizza? Any noticeable results, crispier or chewier interior?
