Poured the slab

I poured the slab for my WFO a couple weeks ago. Not sure when I'll start building the thing - probably after deer season - brick-by-brick.

NICE , anticipation !! So you are building right ? I did it myself as well , and used the Earthstone oven for the engine. Have you selected an oven or builing the entire oven by hand?

Yes, the plan is to build it myself by hand. I'm pretty excited to get it started, but I have a lot going on for the next few months. Having the foundation down will keep me focused.

Andre, I was just getting ready to contact them to order their plans and CD, when I noted their email address.  It's the same guy that posted in the thread that I just linked to on FB (John Brek).

Did you get the CD as well or just the plans?  I don't see a link to order the CD on their page.

Why did it take 6 months from purchase for you to get the plans,  I though they pushed right over electronically?  I emailed this guy multiple times and have yet to hear back.  I'm relieved to know that the plans in fact exist.

Plans, instructions, and historical information are available for free at fornobravo.com.  If you want to see dozens of ovens in pictures from the ground up, the forums there are full of them, as well as some superior pizza cooks.  I found this place from there, in fact.
