Quality Pizza stone around $40?

After breaking my second cheap pizza stone, I think I need to upgrade to a nice model that will not break (and is more than 1/3" thick).

Are there any good options around 40 dollars US?  The oven I have can do 550 degrees F normal or 525 convection, that would mean I need a pretty thick stone, correct?  I can go higher if necessary to get something that wont break in less than a month.

The Old Stone brand is made of cordierite, widely available on Amazon dot com, and around $40 shipped with Super Saver shipping in most home pizza sizes.
Ave thickness about 1/2" not inc the "legs".  Many forum members use these successfully and they are fairly indestructable in normal use, including in gas bbq grills according to what I have read.
In your stated price range these look to be the best our there IMHO.  You can read about others in this subforum too.
