Rosario's in Midland Park, NJ

This is a trattoria that opened up where "Arturo's" used to be in Midland Park NJ (29 Central).

I don't know a lot about how they make the pizzas but I love them.  There is some sort of brick oven but it kind of looks like deck ovens surrounded by bricks? 

The pizza is sort of a mix between a Neapolitan Style and New York.  The margherita  pizza is made with fresh mozzarella and a few slices of tomatos but also have some sauce on there as well. 

I have also had some of their pasta.  I love the penne ala pollo e broccoli.  It's made in a creamy parmesan sauce that is a little rich, but I don't find it overwhelming.  Their pasta portions are HUGE!  I eat a lot (ha) and usually order a small pizza and half portion of pasta, and finish them both off, sharing a little of both.

Overall I really like this place and would recommend it.

This is the Wife of the owner of Aurturos Next door Visited 1st time a few weeks ago.
All trumps flour stanislaus sauce and rest depot cheese? nothing great here in my opinion only.
The ovens are very nice they are the marsal "brick oven"  full enclosure and they make a great pizza
Pasta dishes here are also very good

i think my pizza tastes were still developing.  i don't go there much anymore!!!    I also used to ride my bike 60 miles a day 5 days a week which can work out quite an appetite 

I don't think it is owned by Arturo's anymore. 

Like you said not terrible but not anything special.  I found it to be very dry and crunchy - like it is low hydration and baked a long time at 425F.
