I have used King Arthur 's Sir Lancelot High-Gluten Flour (14.2%) with excellent results in NY Style pizza crusts, but find the shipping costs from Vermont (to Raleigh, NC) to be rather high.
I'm entertaining the thought of establishing a wholesale account with a regional distributor and having Sir Lancelot shipped to me in bulk. I was given a ballpark quote on 50 lb. bags that was nearly half that of what King Arthur charges through their retail catalog.
Unfortunately, the minimum order this distributor will accept equates to about one-quarter ton of Sir Lancelot---quite a bit more than I am able to use.
If I follow through with this, I wanted to know if there are others who would be interested in helping me find a home for about eight 50 lb. bags of Sir Lancelot?
I'd be looking to cover my cost, not to make a profit.
