Abbys pizza

Does anyone know the secret ingredients to Abbys pizza????  I have tried to copy it... not there yet.  would appreciate any tips!!! :)

Never heard of them.Are they a chain? Where are they located?

Secret ingredients:  Mondako flour, yeast, diamalt, bakers cheese, water, salt

The truth is, it's not the ingredients that make this particular dough great, it's the laminated dough process...you can check out a lot of home experiments here on this particular method on the Shakey's Pizza and Roundtable Pizza threads.

My wife and I recently had a Abby's pizza in Lincoln City. Great.  Abby's is a lot like Round Table but more oil and a little thicker, it seems. This is a very laminated dough. You can watch them make it through the windows. If you are in Oregon any Abby's will be great as long as you are looking for the laminated style, which I am. 

I suggest you increase your oil just a little and see if that helps. Don't forget to fold for the layers.

It is a small chain I have been to in Oregon.  I might go there again someday, maybe if I were starving and the pizza was free.

The pizza sounds as depressing as the folks are out there.

Aw Heck I would try it...I always try any pizza at least once.Where have you had this pizza?

That's where I started in the biz in Walla Walla...I ended up buying the Abby's in Clarkston...bought out the franchise agreement and went on my own!
