It's really funny to think back on my time in Naples, comparing what I know now to what I knew then

Naples was my first foreign port-of-call way back in '88 and to this day I'll always remember the city for having the "worst pizza in the Med" along with being an extremely dirty city

Being young and naive, when we didn't get what we used to back in the states, we immediately dismissed it as "bad." I'm also sure we never ended up in any of the finer establishments around the city serving artisan pies.
I'd love to go back now with the added years of experience

And btw, some of the best pizza we had was in Haifa Israel....along with great looking female guards armed with sub-machine guns
