Hi gang.

I was in the kitchen, and I thought to self?

Why not try the Pizza stone and the Pizza Peel? So I did.

Here's the steps I took to make my Pizza

The Pizza dough was made from this book.

But the crust wasn't all that great compared to my 3 day fermenting pizza dough recipe.

First I start with the prep work.

2 I've start5ed the hand tossing session

3 After I have hand tossed it, I just shaped it into a round shape.

Oiled the crust.

Sauced the crust.

Added the left over Lasagna meat.

Topped it with Mozzy.

Heated the stone up to 440.f

Transferred the pizza to the stone.

After 8 minutes of baking at 440.f

I got the peel ready and wiped it down.

I let it rest for 7 minutes before I cut into it.

We do discuss plenty of specific pizza places and their thin crust pies over on the Chicago board, it wasn't clear what you were shooting for.  Also, I bet if you got rid of the parentheses those links would be hot.

Yup it's a combo on the 2 recipes. If you have the book look the pizza dough recipe. & The recipe here.


I've combined the 2. I am sorry I forget my retarded head if it wasn't screwed on my retarded body. I always forget the little details.

CD, very nice job in describing and showing your great pizzamaking work and effort.  Minor pts:  it's always a little better to show the pictures in the postings and put the exact formulation or recipe in the posting itself, rather than a link (to avoid clicking elsewhere or any confusion), but in any event, you did great.  Enjoyed viewing your posting and work very much.  Looking forward to your future postings and pictures, esp. when you open your own pizzeria.  Go Blue!
