Clothes wringer as a dough sheeter???

I've seen the other topics on sheeters, and the homemade one was awesome. However, I have to wonder if anyone has tried a clothes wringer as a sheeter? I don't want to spend hundreds and hundreds for a restaurant quality sheeter as this would be just for personal use. It seems like an obvious easy and relatively cheap solution, but haven't come across any experiences yet.

Hi I bought a used dough sheeter that works great.  But before that I almost made one out of a treadmill and attached a roller. i never finished it though. it should go in either direction though.
