Changing the background color

Is there an option to change the background colors?  The 'green' color blends in with the black text is to me is very hard to read.

I guess not :)

I think the problem is partly my monitor- on other screens it looks OK, but on my home monitor (an HP LCD screen) the text blends/bleeds into the background.  Changing font size doesn't help, so I was hoping I could change the background.

Unfortunately those are the colors of the theme that I designed.

I do plan to redesign the theme at a later date... to make it more professional looking. But that doesn't help you now.  :(

I played with the brightness and contrast on the monitor and that helped.   BTW, thanks for the site!

there is a way with your browser. not sure in IE, but in firefox, goto tools > options > content, then click colors. uncheck "allow pages to use there own colors, and set your color in the background color setting there.

Steve, I wouldn't change a thing. This is a very professional looking board. The thing that keeps a board professional is keeping the spammers from Russia out of here. I had a board similar to this and I didn't know how to stop them or why they kept coming to my site.
