And the pizza turned out great.She did not grow up around NY style pies,or the street style slices I love,but Now,shes hooked on that style now.This was an 18 inch pie.
Using the info and recipes I learned on here,she made a Pepperoni pie that turned out better than I expected.Of course,I did guide her some,using what I learned,to help her the best way I could,but she did all of the work needed to do it.
She loves sausage and pepperoni pizzas.We didn't have sausage on hand,but plenty of pepperoni.
She made this pie,put pepperoni all over on top of the sauce she made first,then covered it with polly o slices of mozz.So most of it is hidden.
Then,on one half,she put a few more pepperoni on top of the cheese.The pics do not do it justice,it was a really really good.I am not a huge pepperoni fan but this method was great.I truly love the pepperoni cooked under the cheese better than on top.It may have been a bit Pepperoni overkill for some,but everyone loved it.The Slices were gone in less than 10 minutes of cutting the pie up.
